AMS Pictures is seeking a Project Manager to be responsible for long-term planning, scheduling and coordination of production and post operations.  AMS has partnered with a corporate client to assist in their daily video operations. The Project Manager will serve as the key point of contact between AMS and our partner. The Project Manager will work at the client site.

The Project Manger should have the following attributes:  determination, ability to multi-task, extremely organized, quick learning skills, and self-direction.  Will work directly with our partner's Operations Manager, internal / external producers, department managers and crews in ensuring any production and / or post production requests are executed.  Must adhere to company values: professionalism, positive attitude, profitability, quality and client service.

AMS Pictures will not provide for relocation.

DUTIES: 

  • Responsible for assisting the Operations Manger with the following:
    • Manage and coordinate all project schedules
    • Coordination of video team on daily tasks
    • Assist with equipment coordination for production shoots
    • Provide strategic economical solutions when managing multiple projects
  • Lead daily morning meetings to discuss current projects, future projects and daily tasks
  • Responsible for hiring and negotiating rates with all freelance crew & equipment 
  • Provides analysis of current schedule and offers solutions on streamlining bookings in an organization and efficient manner 
  • Work with producers and associate producers to coordinate crew and equipment needs for production shoots
  • Manage all gear availability, scheduling of packs and unpacks, gear flips and repairs
  • Work with producers and other team members to coordinate edit suites and editors for all post production work
  • Ensure deadlines are being met by team members
  • Tracks and provides monthly reports regarding outside costs incurred through shceduling (like renting equipment, freelancers, etc.)
  • Ensures accurate information is put int the scheduling software for actualization
  • May assist in production role if needed (and as time allows)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or PMP Certification preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in an administrative / Project Management role.
  • Advanced knowledge of full service production facility along with general technical & production equipment knowledge.
  • Advanced computer skills required.
  • Willingness to work extended hours as needed.
  • Must be able to work in high pressure and fast-moving situations and maintain composure.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are essential to the success of this role.
  • Knowledge of industry scheduling & project management programs is a plus.
